Those are Readings from my Nicometer.
Could anyone suggest how I can get the Think to accept the charge is not 100% ?

You will need to up the voltage to 85 volts for the original charger to engage.

This can be done through the heater plug under the hood.

And a relatively simple and cheap way to do this is to get hold of a few discarded 12V batteries (ask on a local service station to borrow some; they will be sent to recycling in a while anyway), charge them and connect them in series (Jula/biltema have affrodable cables and clamps) and then to the heater connector. :)

Can anyone who has done this give me a good guess regarding the current required ?
Worn out batteries does not tend to be able to deliver too much power and I am thinking of a series connection of several adjustable power supplies instead.

Sitata relatively simple and cheap way to do this is to get hold of a few discarded 12V batteries
There is a reason why the batteries are discarded and old batteries is not the best source of high currents. (Yes, I am aware there are two different persons giving the answers)
Or do OneMore mean "you won't need much current" ????

Just a thought: would ca 10-12x 9V "smoke alarm batteries" in series do the trick?
Its much less cumbersome to hook up, but I don't know if they deliver enough amps to trigger the charging....

They typically holds 0.4 - 0.6 Ah and can deliver approx 0.5-1.0 A, which means they discharge in one hour to half an hour. They might become a bit hot ;)
It will cost you about 150-200 SEK (at Jula).

Some fun with a bit more than 10 of them:

Yes I men't "won't"...
I edited my text and ended up wrong.. Sorry!   :-[

OK, OneMore.
Thanks for the clearification.
Maybe the 9V battery trick is ok then ?
It sure is much easier than 8 leadacid batteries with jump start cables.

Try the 9 volt trick.. Funny anyway??

I have been looking on the possibility to use LED Light driver.

I.e. : http://www.ebay.com/itm/370877741329?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

But I think you will need another one to lift voltage to 60V for this one?

yeah, it would be interesting if you tried the 9V battery trick.
I would recommend you to measure both voltage over, and current out of this "pack" when you try, if you have the tools to do that. That would give a lot of answers :)

If this does not work (give or take some 9V batteries, compensating for voltage drop due to high current) it will not work for the led-driver either.

If you really like to build things yourself the only thing you need is 4diodes (or a rectifier) and a capacitor, all with high enough rating (500V+ and 15A+) and hook it up to the power-grid. If you are really macho, you don't need the capacitor either (not recommended) ;)
This might deliver way more than you need and could be more than the car can handle...

The funny thing is?

This is one of the most common issues of problems with the dear TH!NK!
And also again so easy described how to do...

But still no one has build this easy solution? WHY?

I would be very happy if any one could build a unit and show us!

After, I will be happy to get this produced for some units.

well, i guess the funny thing is if it don't deliver what we wish for you have a lot of 9V batteries to play with or blow up...

What I mentioned was just a makeshift AC/DC converter, and should of course be designed more carefully if you want to use it on a regular basis. You need to add at least a coil transformer ie 3:1 ratio, and a heap more capacitors, maybe a voltage regulator too to keep it a bit more stable.

Its much easier just to measure whatever you need of voltage and amps to kick-start the cars charger, and order a proper power-supply, for instance from mascot: http://www.mascot.no/?CatID=1206 .

I do and I will.

Not sure I am macho enough for this. It seems there will be a very large current draw initially due to the very large voltage difference. If I remember correcty from school some 40 years ago the voltage after the diods will be 230VxSq root of 2
Adding a transformer, as suggested later, is probably a very good idea. However connecting anything home made to the grid is not my idea of a fun day. I will try the batteries first and if it does not work move on to heavier artillery.
SitatBut still no one has build this easy solution? WHY?
Maybe they tried Warlocks method and are no longer with us and kan tell the story  ;)
