Firmware Update for Think Controller USA

Hello dear Think drivers.

In the ThinkYahoo group and the Facebook ThinkTank Group there is a lot of news about a heater exchange and even more important about a Firmware update that should provide better acceleration at higher speeds. The drivers with the update report reasonably more torque at speed from 40 Mph to 55 Mph.
Is this a Think US only issue, because they had other firmware than european Thinks or does anyone know more about the "how to" get this update for european Thinkers ?
