Do you remember what was the speed when car started to accelerate (or brake) again?

Sorry no.  But I will "record" that the next time I drive the car.

Additional info. This car has had the Electric_fault lit constantly for over one year :-[
But my Saxo has had it even longer without facing the problem we are discussing her.

Do you have Lexia diagnostic?
Some intermittent faults are cleared with "big reset", some by just connecting 220V charging plug (I have that one), some are permanently stored and require Lexia  for clearing.
I guess that one year is permanent enough. :)

I have LEXIA, and it is permanent - yes.

What is the fault that lexia reports?

Elmo

It is quite a while since I read it out, but it was "permanent insulation fault" or something.
I can of course check again.

No, I'm just curious. I would suspect some electron leakage between traction batteries and 12V if you have battery monitoring installed. At least that's how I've managed to create such faults :)

Niram1969 .

Yesterday, I had too much energy in batteries and too few kilometers to run :) , therefore I tried to repeat regen/drive intermittent failure as described earlier.

The result - nothing! I drove the car on maximum speed for 20km (highway) before test attempt. When I finally did, regen started immediately as well as acceleration. I tried everything, I almost made hole in the floor with gas pedal - nothing. Worked every time.
Go figure.  :o

P.S. Still think it is temperature dependent. The higher the temperature, the symptoms are more prominent.

Of all our four old PSA EVs (one 2001 P106, two 2003 Saxo and not to forget "the ex." 1998 P106 we had from summer 2010 until July this year) only ONE have had (still have) the problem described in this forum thread. Guess what... its the only of these four that have a Robometer installed  ;D however that might not be the root cause of the problem.

I have (or had) PacTracR installed 3 cars including the one with this problem. Driven over 100.000km all together, before this just recently came up on this one.
My friend that I mentioned earlier did not have Romometer nor PacTracR.
