I'm sitting on my porch enoying a glass of red in the evening sun but the Think is disturbing me whit very short bursts of cooling fan noise. Its quite irregular and last only about a second. There is no way any actual cooling can be done in such a short time. There  must be some kind of sensor malfunction.
Earlier I have only noticed  cooling during charging for longer periods, maybee 30 to 60 seconds.
Don't know if matters but the charging is on the last 20%.
Any ideas ?

I would check the coolant level, check that it isn't too low. Top up if necessary. Also check that the fans aren't clogged with dust/dirt. (Make sure they don't start during any attempt at cleaning. Wait till charging has finished. Temporarily remove the fan fuse if you work there.)

I have seen this sometimes, on hot days. Perhaps the temperature sensor is located very close to the fan, and get cooled immediately when the fan starts?

Checked the coolant level, OK
Checked the fans, OK
There is a tempsensor hanging down in the fan area, dont know what its for but it has always been there.
Yesterday was around 20 degrees so it as no extreme heat.

If I dont remember wrong, that sensor is measure the temperature around the 12v battery, so it gets the right charge depending on temperature.

I think I read that somewhere else too.
Kind of weird that it hangs in mid air though !?
