Her er et kjekt sitat som peker på de gode elbilforholdene i Norge  ;)

Our biggest surprise, however, is the development in the Norwegian market. The i-MiEV went on sale in Norway in the beginning of 2011 and consequently was the top seller in the A-segment in the first quarter of the year – in a cold climate that necessitates heating and therefore reduces range, and in winter season!  There are three reasons for the i-MiEV's success in Norway:

- tax incentives for the customer
- EVs are allowed the use of bus lanes which helps the drivers to avoid long waiting in traffic jams
- infrastructure of charging points: there are already over 2,600 charging points in place because in Norway's cold climate engine powered cars also need engine block heaters, but those are also suitable for charging EVs
