Sorry, my Norwegian is inexistant...so I post in English

Hi Think Community,
I am considering to sell my Think as I will need a vehicle with fast charge capabilities. Now there is a chance that the car will be exported to another country (from Switzerland to EU member state). In order to waive border crossing/custom fees, a "Certificate of Origin" is required. Does anyone have seen such a paper or knows where to get such document? I've contacted the company that imported the cat some years ago, but have not heard from them yet.

The "Certificate of Conformity" that is also needed when exporting to the EU, I have.
Any pointer is much appreciated. My Think was produced 2011 and assembled in Finland.

Cheers
Stefan

Certificate of Origin is like a vehicles birth certificate.
It is somewhat a standard for each model, but still specific for each car produced.
Most likely the importer of the car was the last one having this document, but I don't know if the keep it archived.

In Norway this dokument is taken by the government in exchange for registration documents. I always make a copy before I let it go, just incase,  but the government should keep it incase you need it later for export.

What EU country are you talking about ?

Sitat"The "Certificate of Conformity" that is also needed when exporting to the EU"

The Think A306 has European Type approval so you dont need this CVO or COC or whatever you name it.
Any EU country can check the VIN and see that its EU approved. And in the EU approval the manufacturer of origin is mentioned. I have been importing cars from CH to NL, there never has been a problem when it comes to VAT or other import duties.
