Hello to everybody.
I'm new to this forum so I say welcome  :)
I will write in english because I'm polish and know no one word in Norwegian :(
I have some EV cars (look at my website) and good base of parts - bought mostly in UK, so I'm no worries there.

I just wanted to ask how you deal with PSA range in winter - as I found in one Berlingo a trick done by previous owner which blocks radiator to cool batteries when temperature is below 10 deg Celcius (there is still coolant circulation) and then it unblocks radiator when temp goes higher than 10deg C.
However that Berlingo had batteries explosion in front-lower packs, I don't know if that "trick" might be something in it (batteries & van are 2003 year). I bought it already exploded.

Here in Poland we have quite similar winter to you (so -20 or -25 deg Celcius is quite common).

Have greetings to all...

Hi! I just read fom the news that you have extremely cold in Poland. I living in Finland so please do not send your weather here... but if you need snow I can sent it for you how much you ever need.

For my Berlingo I have done as follows:
- Cover the front of the car but no cover stick to radiator
- Changed the polarity for radiator blower for winter time
- Added another water pump for Webasto with parallel. Do not connect extra pump taken power from Webasto´s pump wires, put extra relay. Clearly Webastos original pump (415L/h) is not enough
- Installed switch for the dashboard were power steering can shut off in normally driving
- Installed extra NTC for Webasto so that water temp is 5C higher than before
- Insulated water hoses from Webasto to the heater coil and from expansion tank to the Webasto. There was no measurable difference with insulation for expansion tank... ok, there was about 0,5C for inlet temperature, I lied!
- If driving distance drops more than 10km in the wintertime then there is something wrong with batteries. If the batteries are ok then they working for some -30C until there comes remarkable loss for driving distance. If you use the car when temperature is lower than -30C it need different electrolyte and driving distance drops some 10%. But the car works still at -45C.
- I also recommended strongly that you change oils for reduction box.
- I have noticed that watering must do with 3000km periods or the batteries exploded time to time. Watering light lits after 4000 to 7000km depending how the car has charged and the condition of the batteries. It´s too late. This sentence based for some over 300 reconditioned batteries and investigation with my friends, physician and chemistrians.

Hope this helps!

Alternatively, you could just move somewhere warmer!  ;D

thank you for answers :)
here in Poland winter is not extremely cold.
Normal winter temperatures are around -10°C, sometimes drops to -20 to -25°C, but this is maximum for 2 weeks (records are -35°C I think)
Usually between December-February. But it is quite common to come close to 0°C.
So I think weather conditions in Poland are a bit warmer than in Finland/Norway/Sweden ?
