Model Y as Taxi

Hi,

Please excuse me writing in english, as I'm from Austria.

A friend of mine is thinking about buying a Tesla Model Y as another Taxi vehicle, but due to FUD he is uncertain about the long term maintenance / cost of the car.

Are there any persons here operating a Model Y as a Taxi in the Nordics, available to share their expirience?

Alternatively, does anyone know of a list of high milage Model Y in the nordics - presumably with the higher number of EVs, and their use as daily driver, as well as some longer distances there may be some cars out there with very respectable kilometers on their odometers...

Lots of Model Y and Model 3 taxis in Norway now. I don't know any owners myself, but maybe contact them directly?

Some observations as a customer:
-quite a few years ago, a Model S taxi owner told me he was frustrated because spare parts were lacking, putting his car out of service for months.
-a Model Y taxi in city of Bodø last May had severe rust trouble along the canals (
-not to comfortable suspension on the bad roads of Oslo. I don't have any info whether this would case reliabilitet issues, probably same for all cars.

So maybe wrap the canals, be sure to have a service centre and parts, a supercharger with good capacity would be important.

I know a taxi-owner with two EV-taxis, one of them is a Tesla Y. He has said that TMY works well as taxi. Also from an economic perspective. The local Tesla service centre also gives him good service.

Most taxi are ev cars where I live. Even evs with small batteriet like the old Ioniq with 38 kWh. I think it's because Hyundai has unlimited waranty here and that's great when u drive extreme mileage.
