I would question replacing only a single cell.
Usually in packs like that there is a reason for the cell going bad, and that same reason may have deteriorated other cells in the pack. What is initially visible is only the worst cell - this is the one that makes the halfpack disconnect, but there may be other cells that are not as bad, but still have some reduced capacity or performance.
So you can change one cell just to discover that there is one more, and then one more. Or you can try and test the pack and make inventory of the cells that would need to be replaced.
