Excellent work.

I just planned to do a refill these days when I saw your video-how-to.

I have done it many times on the Clio and PSA but for the Think the Nikometer gives an excellent overview of the parameters as temperature and overcharged Amphours.
I can recommend to watch the middle single block voltage as well. Together with the pack voltage for me this is also a good indicator for when it is time to stop the maintainance charge.

Hi Nikolay.
Nice videos, I think many beginners would like to see this videos before starting their first waterfilling experience;)
The only thing I personly do a litle different, is that I always overfill more than 1 litre water at every niple, then I feel that I'm more sure that all air is geting out an every cell is full.
I'm not sure that this is nesesery, but as my water is almost for free I do this just in case;).

Hello.

Massive overfilling is not really neccesary.
If I do a refill on my Peugeot Scoot``elecs with Saft STM100 without the water cooling bags I could take a close look at each Block while refilling.
You could clearly see that the water level raised cell AFTER cell before the water ran over trough the hose to the next block.

p.s.: Did my refill last week. The blocks were nearly dry. The former owner missed the filling I guess. Fortunately I didn´t drive the car a lot (<1000km) since I got this battery pack. Had to refill 19.5 L  ::)

I guess your cars BMS is version B.111 ?

When running the latest version B.116 the radiator fans start blowing imediately when plugged to 220V in maintenance charge mode. Also the 10A overcharge stops at 40Ahr, and reduces the current to ~5A, just to maintain the battery temp and the voltage.

As you say, it's a good idea to watch when the packvoltage peaks, and stop the overcharge when voltage decreases. If it's been a long time since last waterfill (in amphours), and if there is a risk or chance that the batteries are dried out, one should be carefull with the temperature.

Thanks for the good words. It will be nice to collect different experiences - as I pointed out - this is probably not the best way to do it - it is the way I did it last time.
