Curious to tire noise experience from those who pick up a Model Y with default 19inch?
Since they come with Hankook tires and not Michelin like 20inch config.
This is me (19 inch hankook).
Tire noise for me is extremely reduced compared to my mothers TM3.
Regarding the sound discussion above, I can provide all of you with the following:
* I am extremely sensitive to noise.
* I wear a headset while coooking.
* I complain about everything (plastic bags, cutlery, shoes, doors, cubs, girlfriends, people, paper, air, whatever you name it - i complain) making TOO MUCH SOUND.
* My father told me that I would only listen to Sølvguttene in the car when I was a kid, everything else was too noisy. I also hated when someone did not properly turn off the TV (they only click the remote off - not the big button on the only Grundig TV we hade to cut power completely) as there was some static electricity-like sound from the TV that "only I" could hear.
Now: I AM SO RELIEVED ABOUT THE MODEL Y.
* Much more silent than the M3s, and MSs I have driven (have not driven X).
* No rattling other that loose bottles or stuff I am responsible for myself
* Can easily talk on the phone on highways.
But oh damn I hate the sound when going in reverse.
The air pump is also easy to hear, but that is only from time to time. Not at all a problem on highways, or with music
Let me just summarize:
I am more sound sensitive than you. I love the Model Y. Also more than you. <3
