Har hatt bilen ute på finn i noen dager nå. Det er helt utrolig hva folk byr.. Altså, den ligger ute til 389 noe som gjør den til den billigste m3n i Norge og jeg har fått bud nede i 320 000. Latterlig.

These are unfortunately bad times for model 3 sellers now (and happy ones for the buyers).
Number of used model 3's on finn increases every single day, there is 320 cars on sale now and that number will increase steadily to 1000-2000 within next 4-6 months, the closer to model Y debut, the more 3's will be on sale.

Your car is 440k new like you said (but you bought it closer to 420k if I'm not wrong :>)
Normally after 1 year and such a small mileage it should be worth around 440x0,9 = ~395k NOK

But now it is not "normal" for model 3 due to lifting and free financing.

"Lifting" - heat pump, laminated accoustic windows, power trunk etc make for at least 20k NOK discount on older models.

"Free financing" for 3 years adds up for another 25k NOK discount.

395-20-25=~350k NOK

And that seems to me to be realistic price for your great car these days.

Lack of the tow hitch and turn of the model year soon does not help either.

PS. Look at eg. BMW 330e - these are 600k new, after 3 years they go for 320-350k max. That's almost 100k NOK gone every year. Cars in Norway are depreciating assets, applies to Tesla also ;)

From a perspective of a person who gets his brand new model 3 Performance (white) for 514k NOK in few weeks:

1. almost all used model 3 prices on finn are "naive" or "wishful thinking" to say the least
2. There is a model 3 Perf. white - almost 2 years old (03.2019) with 30.000 km driven for 510k NOK on sale added yesterday. I mean - 510k - what the heck??

For that price there is a brand new model 3 Performance that has:
- 0km driven (ok, maybe not 0 but 30km)
- is brand spanking new, no one farted in the front seats yet
- is refreshed (heat pump!, chrome delete, power trunk, nicer console indside, etc etc)
- has way better sound insulation than in 2019
- is slighlty faster
- has significantly better range
- has full 5 years warranty instead of remaining 3 years
- has brand new summer tires
- has way better resale value in the future due to the heat pump or sound insulation
- has "free" financing for first 3 years which is worth about 1000 NOK/month in interests (compared eg. to 4,5% DNB) - that is 36k NOK saved just there
- has refined overall production technology after 2 years of model 3 production improvements
- you buy from a dealer instead of a private person (more convinient, less "stressful")

Ok, there are 20" winter wheels added - but who cares if there is eg. 4mm left of thread on them (or on summer ones) and the premium replacement 20" tires are like ~15k NOK easily.

For me, to consider "second hand", almost 2 year old model 3 Performance, that price would have to be in the ~400k NOK area, otherwise that purchase makes completely no sense imho.

I wouldn't pay even 420k for that car at this very moment - based on the resale value in the future, profit from low Tesla interests now, all the new stuff in the car - that price would be not a "value".

Word of caution - in about half a year, even if only 1 out of 10 Tesla model 3 owners, will decide to replace his model 3 with model Y - there will be additional 2000 used model 3's on finn.
The price of model 3 then (especially models from begining of production - 2019) will show us price FREE FALL - I expect a loss of value of about 80-100k NOK easily within next 6 months - if you buy used Perf. 2019 for 500k now, it will be worth no more than ~400k if you would have to sell it in half a year.

Model 3 / Sv: Kjøpe nå eller vente? 🤔

I agree with Dieselgubben.

Norwegian prices for Tesla model 3 at the moment are way too high compared to US (especially SR version).
Shipping costs are less than 10k NOK so 1:1 price of model 3LR should be around 435-440k NOK after they slashed the prices in US few months ago.

With VW's ID.3 premiere around the corner in NO Tesla Norge will drop the prices really soon (September-October) or they will loose EV market share significantly here. I believe that they just wait to unload and sell current shipment in transit with higher prices and then there will be a price drop.

I myself want to pull the trigger on model 3 LR badly but also not eager to overpay 30-40k NOK.
As soon as they drop prices to at least previous levels - they will have a new happy Tesla owner.
