We have enjoyed Norway very much, spent super three weeks traveling around in our MS. The weather could have been a bit better  ;) The EV infrastructure is great in Norway, I have to say, there are many things that Switzerland hopefully will learn from the Norwegian example.
One thing that I would like to share with you, for the benefit of Non-Scandinavian friends who might come and visit you in Norway: The paid Hurtiglader-System is super great, but it does not work if you don't have a Scandinavian phone number or credit card. I have tried charge-per-text-message and downloading the respective apps from the Apple app store, but it did not accept Swiss credit cards when registering. So one time I would have been stuck in Eidfjord had not the nice helpline operator at Gronn Kontakt just allowed me to charge without payment. The charging station itself worked great, full-speed chademo :)

Thanks a lot Eip, very kind of you. Will PM you for personal data exchange :) Do you have any indication about Tocna's timeline for the charging site in Karasjok? And as we will be coming in from Alta, Levi is far out of our radius of travel. But CHAdeMO would have been nice, I got the adapter 2 months ago and have used it already frequently.

Dear all - Sorry for writing in English, I'm Swiss and don't speak Norwegian. My wife and I are going to take our MS P85 to Nordkap in Juli this year and we would also like to visit some friends in Kautokeino and Karasjok. I know about the charging possibility in Alta, but this will only take us one way down to the south and not up again in the direction of Tromso. Does anybody of you know of charging possibilities in either Kautokeino or Karasjok that are faster than Schuko (3,7A)? We will not stay that long at our friends that we would be able to get a full charge from their home power plugs. Thanks a lot for your help and reply!
