Consider selling the Twizy? I would like one to do just this with.
Hello Elektrolux,
Yes, the car will not run without the electronics devices that are puted in the battery box.
I already have the Gen4 Sevcon manual and I think we can make it run without the Twizy computer.
But then again - the dash board display will not work properly...
Keep working.
If somebody knows where I can buy original battery box (battery + electronics) for Twizy?
Thank you!

Twizy / Battery replace for Renault Twizy

Hello,
We have a Twizy without his original battery - the car was with damage so the battery was removed.
Can we put ordinary LiFe battery to replace the original...?
I suppose the answer is "no" but is somebody already make this or somebody is trying to do it?
Thank you!

Yes, batteries are lithium 160Ah...
I think the batteries are not the main problem in this situation...
Have to figure what to do with the car.
In December we changed the motor with newer one, again from Partner.
Now this problem - it is awful...  :-\

Could be a bad contact in one of the batteries. This will prevent the charger from starting, as the voltage will increase to fast once current is flowing.

Thank you!
But unfortunatelly this is not the problem.

This saturday the charger degnited to start at all - even non for 15-20 sec.
The problem looks is somewhere else.

When we have 0% on Energy, what we should do?

Hello,
I searched for similar topics, found one.
But didn't understand the solution and opened a new topic.

Our Partner shows 0% of Energie...
We plug-in the socket and the charger starts for about 10-15 seconds.

The batteries shows 3,27-3,28V - all cells.
The batteries are one year and a half old, LiFePO4 type.
The total voltage is 159V.

We do not have the testing computer.

What is the solution of this problem?
Thank you!!!

Yes, we need them, but we thinking we can make it more easy than if we have to pay for the delivery :(
If you can suggest how to get them, we are in Bulgaria...

Hello,
We take two Saxo's 3-4 weeks ago.
We prove them with 10 starter batteries (x12V each) and the cars are in good condition.
But there are without the battery boxes.
Searched in the forum - no result, because I opened this new topic.
(sorry for using english - do not know your language :( )
Can someone help me and write me about the dimensions of the front and rear box.
We have to make them as the original boxes.
Attaching one picture of the boxes, found in the forum.

Thank you!

"The computer must be replaced or programmed for this."
How we can re-programme the computer of the Saxo?
These two cars are the first electric Saxo in my country, so we are very "non familiar" with this devices.
Thank you!

Thank you !
We have two Saxo's without batteries, so we have to decide how many batteries with how much Ah to get.
Maybe will use 90Ah or 100Ah lithium batteries.

Looking to find other EV and import them here, in Bulgaria.
So other proposal are welcome :)

Hello,
Can someone help me - I'm searching more info about the voltage of the electric Saxo.
Can the car works on 160V?
Do I have to replace the charger?
Can the controller and the motor handle this voltage?
Thank you!
p.s. sorry to write in english - not know your language :(

Thank you for the link!
Yes, I found this wiki, but the files are not in english :(
Understanding english and italian, but unfortunately not german/french.
I can receive help for translation but would ask first if there are manuals in english.
Thank you!
